WHICH
INCLUDED
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION REGARDING
THE
HISTORY OF ESKIMO, NORWAY AND NORTHWAY SNOWMOBILES.
DAVID
S.
( FROM PHILIPPE )
... Hello, I came across your website...........
Hello
in return!
I talked
to my grandfather he said to me he knows Andy Taylor.
(
regarding Stan McRobert ) ..... Antonin said he invested in the
company
buying more shares (51%) than my grand father and his
brothers
through the years so he became the main of the company.
A small
recap of the beginning:
Antonin
Boulanger, Louis N. Boulanger and Jean-Paul Boulanger
started
in the garage of their father in 1968 doing about a thousand or
so
named ESKIMO at Sainte-Hénédine, Quebec, Canada.
Then
they started Norway while moving to Hymus boulevard in Pointe-Claire.
Antonin
said that they has troubles with the name due to
copyright
issues and changes to Northway as we all know today.
Antonin
was the head of the factory (building blueprints of the frames and mechanic
shop.
Louis
was head of finance, administration and marketing and
Jean-Paul
was the one making the final assembly. It is about that in the beginning!
